Children & Family Profiles
When you fund a child’s wish list with Operation Santa’s Child, you’re supporting not only the child you select, but every child within that home. We utilize our donations to meet some household needs as well. Want to help us make sure every child experiences the magic of Christmas? See below for the families we're supporting this year.
Our Process
Being thoughtful and intentional in our approach is a key step in how we deliver hope each year. Our children and families are selected by school counselors and administrators who work diligently to help us identify those in the greatest need. We visit all of our children and families in person to understand each individual child’s unique needs. It is during this time that we become aware of other children within the home we then add their needs to the list as well.
After our visit, our kids’ needs and “wish list” will be shared with the community supporters, volunteers, donors, and sponsors, who will have the opportunity to visit each child’s profile on our website www.operationSantaschild.org and select the child whose Christmas they want to help fund.
Supporters are welcome to personally Christmas shop for their child, or we’re happy to do the shopping, with the funds donated. We do not have fixed costs for donations, as the needs are always changing. We will share the estimated cost of a child’s list when we provide their profiles. If you would like us to do the shopping for you, please click the “donate with PayPal” option. In addition to gifts and supplies, donations help provide a full holiday meal for each of the families.
